What's going on here? OPEC has nothing to do with this, yet the price just keeps going up. Let's here some theories on this.

I'm surprised no one's answered this one. Does'nt anyone think it's strange that oil was $27.00 a barrel when the governor of Texas was "selected" as our president, and seven years later it's $100.00 a barrel?

Im not suprised at all. Our president is an oil tycoon. And is surely securing a permenant war time enconomy, just like regan and his father before him.  Opening Iraqi oil up to big oil doesnt help things either.  You think they arent gunna rob thos epeople blind like they do us? Exxon just released their quarterly, 115 billion in revenue!, 41 billion in profits! Crude prices have gone up more in the recent then they ever has dating back 148 years. Given our current situation, no, im not suprided at all.

They talk about a recession.. Look around people and you will see just how much corporate progits are booming. Even sicker is that we hand money to these people on top of it in the form of corporate welfare to companies that do not need it more then the people.  Wal-Mart subsidized! McDonalds subsidized! Coke and Pepsi subsidized! Boeing sibsidized! Exxon, subsidized!
