Don't fret about crashing the system! It may do crash on its own now and then, but there's little you can do to bring it down!
As for the Obits database, I was able to use it both inside the library and via remote access this a.m. If you're still getting the error message, I may want to talk to you as you try to go into the database, step by step. I'd certainly like to figure this out! You can call the main library number (847-392-0100) and ask for me.
